The YZF R15 V3 is powered by a 155cc BS6 engine that produces 18.37 bhp of power and 14.1 Nm of torque. The Yamaha YZF R15 V3 has an anti-locking braking system for both front and rear disc brakes. Weighing 142 kg, this YZF R15 V3 bike has a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters. The Yamaha YZF R15 V3 is a sports bike sold in India at a starting price of Rs 1,48,550. With a top model price starting from Rs. 1,50,650, it is available in 3 models and 3 colors.
The R15 Version 3.0 substantially decreases the technological gap. There is now a BS6 engine on the list with a few more ccs, but with variable valve timing that brings the maximum power output to almost 18.3bhp with a maximum torque output of 14.1Nm. All-LED lamps and an all-digital LCD instrument cluster are also available that display a wealth of details, even when the Variable Valve Actuation switches to the different camshaft profile.

While the global model gets goodies like upside down forks, traditional telescopic forks are used in the domestic version to keep the costs in check. The pillion seat tends to be mounted a little lower, at least physically, which may answer some of the questions regarding the pillion.
With the style of the current R15, Yamaha has not tinkered around, and it appears to be the same sharp-looking motorcycle it has been since 2018. Although the graphics on the colors of the grey and Dark Knight look identical to the BS4 bike, the Racing Blue earns refreshed graphics with a silver strip plastered over the fairing with the R15 logo.
The motorcycle boasts disc brakes at both ends and is now installed as standard equipment with dual-channel ABS. Meanwhile, for the rear, side-stand engine cut-off turn and dual-tone horns, the motorcycle now has a radial tyre as usual with the BS6 edition.
FACTS
The current-gen R15 is currently the fastest 150cc motorcycle on sale in India. The R15 V3.0 can shift faster than a number of 200cc motorcycle on sale in India. The top speed is disputed, however, you can expect the R15 to pull at a speedo-indicated 140kmph at 11,500 rpm which is higher than the KTM RC200 because of its rpm limiter. For a 155cc engine, a top speed of around 140kmph is blistering.
